The blue Menu Bar appears at the top of every page in StrataEMR. It gives you fast access to the most-used areas of the system from anywhere, without needing to navigate back to a home screen first.
StrataEMR’s navigation is built around a single principle: whatever you need is never more than one click away, regardless of where you are in the system. Patient cases, scheduling, tasks, and assistance are all accessible from a persistent global header — no backtracking, no digging through nested menus. For practices coming from legacy EMRs where switching context often meant losing your place, this design is a meaningful difference in daily workflow efficiency.

The primary links run across the top right of the bar.

Dashboard

Returns you to your practice’s main Dashboard. The Dashboard shows your key daily metrics, pending tasks, and a summary of billing activity.

Patients

Opens your active patients list. From here you can search for patients by facility or case type, or browse all active patients in the system.

Schedule

Takes you directly to the scheduling screen for your current facility. You can view and manage appointments for the day, week, or any individual therapist.

Tasks

Opens your practice-level task list. Tasks flag items that need attention — such as outstanding benefit verifications, pending authorizations, or draft documents awaiting completion.

Upload

Takes you to the EOB and document upload area. Use this to submit scanned Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents to the StrataPT billing team, or to find the fax number for sending them directly.

Get Help

Opens the StrataEMR support and help resources. Use this to submit support requests, access training materials, or reach the StrataPT team.

Settings

Opens the settings and configuration area for your practice. Your role determines how much of Settings you can access. From here you can manage staff accounts, document templates, appointment reminder settings, schedule configuration, and more.
Not all staff members see all Settings options. Access within Settings is controlled by the permissions assigned to your staff role. If you don’t see an option you need, contact your practice administrator.

Secondary Bar Icons

Directly below the main navigation links, a second row of quick-access indicators and tools is always visible.

Waiting Room Count

The person icon with a number shows how many patients are currently checked in and waiting. Clicking it takes you to the Waiting Room view.

Inbound Fax Count

The printer icon shows the number of inbound faxes waiting to be reviewed. Clicking it takes you to the Inbound Faxes page, where you can view, rename, and attach faxes to the appropriate patient record.

Feedback

Opens a feedback portal where you can share suggestions or report issues directly to the StrataEMR product team.

What’s New

Shows recent product updates and feature releases. A notification badge appears here when new updates are available.

Documentation

Opens the StrataEMR documentation site — the same site you’re reading now — in a new tab.

Your Name and Sign Out

Your name and the current time display in the top-right corner of the bar. Click Sign Out when you are finished working in StrataEMR.
