StrataEMR’s reporting tools give you visibility into how your practice is performing — from daily schedule activity to long-term billing and revenue trends. Most reports are accessible from Practice Metrics, which is reached by clicking the Practice Metrics button in the Analytics section of the Dashboard. Patient-level reporting — statements, payment history, itemized charges, and benefits confirmation — lives on the individual patient case under the Reports tab.

The Dashboard

The Dashboard is the first screen you see when you log in and updates in real time throughout the day. It shows a snapshot of today’s schedule activity — scheduled, completed, cancelled, and no-show visits — along with pending tasks and recent messages. The Analytics section at the bottom of the Dashboard displays scheduling metrics for the day, week, and month, filterable by staff member. For deeper reporting, use the Practice Metrics button from this section.

Practice Metrics

Practice Metrics is the main reporting hub for your organization. Reports are grouped into several areas. Schedule & Operations — Schedule performance, visit totals, cancellations, no-shows, pending documents, and documentation status by therapist. The Schedule Analytics Report is particularly useful for tracking days since last visit and target versus actual visit frequency. Financial & Billing — Revenue from billed visits, reimbursement rates by payer and by CPT code, payment detail breakdowns, outstanding AR, and charge submission summaries. The Average Reimbursement by Payer report is especially useful when renegotiating payer contracts. Staff & Productivity — Staff productivity by service date or charge submission, including unit billing patterns and time-per-visit analysis. Patient Management — Active patient insurance authorizations, discharge follow-up tracking, patient balance summaries, and referral source performance. Invoicing & Charges — StrataPT invoice history, pending charges, write-off and charge loss tracking.
Access to financial and marketing reports is permission-gated. Staff members with the Limit Financial Features modifier on their account cannot view reports in Practice Metrics. See User Permissions for details.
